WCEF2026 – Circular economy transition for people and prosperity

WCEF2026 will be hosted at the Mahatma Mandir convention centre in Gandhinagar, India, from 15 to 18 September 2026. You can also join the forum online or take part in WCEF Studios around the world.

The main forum programme on 15 and 16 September consists of 4 plenaries and 16 parallel sessions. In addition, a variety of accelerator sessions will be held by our collaborators on 17 and 18 May in Gandhinagar, online and around the globe. Side events are held throughout the year.

Please note that the main sessions will be delivered in English, although some complementary events might be held in other languages.

Cutting edge solutions, inspiring insights and meetings that matter

The World Circular Economy Forum 2026 in India connects local solutions with global markets, finance and resilience. The programme shows how the circular economy can become a practical economic strategy by scaling up and optimising industrial value chains, transitioning informal work into higher-value circular activities, and embracing digital capabilities and long-standing traditions. This will strengthen resource security and markets for circular materials while delivering benefits to nature and the climate.

The main programme is designed to facilitate discussions across four interconnected tracks – people, business, governance and growth – key enablers that drive the implementation of circular solutions on the ground. The programme offers inspiring, practical and scalable examples of the circular economy in action. The forum explores how skills, jobs and participation drive inclusion; business transforms value chains; governance sets the rules; growth delivers scale; and how the next generation is taking over.

The WCEF2026 programme is guided by the latest scientific evidence and explores the most impactful circular solutions in India and around the world.

On the first two days, 15–16 September, the forum offers 4 plenaries addressing cross-cutting themes and 16 parallel sessions that divide into four tracks: people, business, governance and growth.

On 17–18 September, accelerator sessions organised by our collaborators bridge the forum themes with the daily work needed for a circular transition. The call for accelerator sessions is open until 29 May UPDATE!!!!!!!!.

In addition to in-session audience engagement, participants will be able to access a networking area, an event application and an expo throughout the forum. The expo is a curated space for forum attendees in Gandhinagar to engage with innovative and inspiring circular economy solutions demonstrated by leading organisations and businesses from India and around the world.

Join us for 2+2 days filled with circular solutions and playful discovery!
