Here are some quick answers to things that people often ask us.
I want to attend the forum in person in Gandhinagar. How do I register?
In-person participation to the forum is by invitation only. We build both the forum programme and invitation lists together with our partners. Due to limited venue capacity, we cannot promise to extend an invitation to the event to many who would be interested to come to India. You can express your interest in participating in person by sending an email to contactus.wcef@sitra.fi. Should we be able to accommodate your request, we will contact you separately.
I would like to participate online, how to register?
Online participation is open to all, free of charge! Registration will open by the end of June and a registration link will be added in the menu bar. You can subscribe to our newsletter below to stay up-to-date on all announcements.
Are there other possibilities to participate in WCEF2026 activities?
Yes, there are! Accelerator sessions on 17 and 18 September are open for anyone to join, and they have a separate registration. Some accelerator sessions may be held online, some in person. You can find the accelerator sessions from the programme once their registration opens in August.
In addition, WCEF side events are organised throughout the year, so check out the menu. In August, we will also publish WCEF studios that offer a localised participation opportunity for the main event.

I’m interested in proposing a speaker for the main forum. Who do I contact?
We recommend writing a short description of the possible speaker with their name, email, previous speaker experience, regional focus and topics they could cover. We will collect all speaker suggestions sent to contactus.wcef@sitra.fi and share them with all session leads who are currently working on building the sessions’ programme. Session leads will contact you or the speaker you’ve suggested, if they see these fit well with the session design.
